Recipe - Anzac Biccies
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 125g butter
- 2tbs golden syrup
- 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
- 1 tbs boiling water
- Preheat oven to 150 degrees celsius.
- Combine oats, sifted flour, sugar and coconut in a mixing bowl.
- *Adult* Combine butter and golden syrup in a saucepan and stir over a low heat until melted.
- *Adult* Mix the bicarb soda and the boiling water, and add to the butter mixture. Stir into the dry ingredients.
- Mix until combined.
- Take teaspoons full of mixture and place on lightly greased oven tray lined with baking paper. allow room for spreading.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Allow to cool, then enjoy!
