Eden the Grocer

To my surprise, a little play scenario which I recently set out for my daughters to keep them busy during cooking-time, ended up being such a success that it was hard to tear them away to have dinner!
Take one kiddie desk and chair, add a cash register toy, calculator, and paper bags and you have a shop. Lay out a cloth with some play fruit and veggies, and you have a greengrocer! Add two little girls, and you have a tonne of fun!

Cubby Time!

What is it about being under a table that kids find so much fun? Drape a few sheets over the table, add some blankets and cushions under it, and you've got yourself a cubby house! Eden hosted a picnic for her toys under there, complete with teaset, pretend food and guests - Humpty, Ted and Baby. Such an easy thing to set up and pack away afterwards, and toddlers love the novelty! Let your child invite you to the party, and go along with it. Enjoy yourselves!
