Inspired by big sister Eden's recent play time with shells (see here), I put the biggest shells in our collection into a sturdy shoebox and set my little Ava baby up in front of it. She was so excited, lots of foot wiggling and hand waving!
Naturally, the shells went straight into the mouth for some dribbly fun...
...and were swapped and swapped again as she explored the different textures...
Ava really enjoyed this! I think of it as a variation on the Treasure Baskets which I put together for her (for more on Treasure Baskets, see here), and I'll be putting together a Christmas themed version for her shortly. Thanks for reading! ~L.
