PLAY TIME ~ OCT. 10th-16th

This week, play with BUBBLES.

At some point this week, try a game or activity with your little one that you've never played before, which involves bubbles.
For a baby, this may be blowing bubbles on their tummy. For a toddler, you may do bubble paintings, or bubble experiments, or teach them how to blow bubbles in a cup of water.
Please post your game in the comments attached to this post, so we can inspire other parents with our ideas!

  1. Today I taught Rubie (14 months) how to blow bubbles! She happily watched me for a little while as I made bubbles, and she followed and reached for them as they floated away. Before long she wanted to make bubbles too! She took one of the wands from me and copied what she had seen me do. With great determination and concentration she dipped her wand in the bubble solution, held it up as high as she could reach, blew in the direction of the wand and then oo'd and ah'd with pride and delight. Whilst she didn't manage to make a single bubble, she had a ball coping me, interacting and having a go for herself. Thanks for the challenge :-)
